As the solar energy is collected (even in overcast conditions), Suntrek works in partnership with your pool's filter pump to quickly convert hundreds of gallons of numbing cold water into warm delight. That's right - Suntrek simply falls in step with your pool's routine daily filtering system so that the heating process is always free.
- Set your time clock to run the pool's filtering cycle during the hours the sun shines.
- Cold pool water enters your pool filter and is "detoured" up to solar collectors.
- Water enters the solar panels. Each panel features 72 customized side-by-side water channels (we customize length to your roof to ensure optimal collection and containment of solar heat).
- Water is quickly heated as it's propelled through the panel and returned to your pool.
