Depending on your location and your weather, your pool season ends sometime in the fall. After all, it’s expensive to heat even a small residential pool, much less the common mid-size or larger ones. However, solar pool heating offers homeowners the opportunity to extend their swimming season for up to four months!
For commercial property owners, pool heating may present a major expense. Keeping customers comfortable, however, does not have to be so costly—a solar heating unit can provide the same exact comfort at a fraction of the price. Regardless of whether your needs are residential or commercial, The Solar Store has the knowledge, experience, and professional training to create a custom solution for you.

The Solar Store offers two types of solar pool heating, Suntrek, and SolarCoil.
A Suntrek solar pool heating system is the preferred choice for pitched and tiled roofs. The collectors are custom designed to your roof’s measurements while remaining sleek and unobtrusive while pulling in a huge amount of solar heat. This custom design does not cost extra and you can rest assured that you are receiving the ultimate in heat-collecting coverage.
A Suntrek system collects solar energy even in overcast conditions and works in partnership with your pool’s filter and pump to convert gallons of cold water.
Similarly, SolarCoil systems are cost-effective and customized for manual or automatic commercial or residential pools, spas, and hot tubs. It is backed by a 18-year full replacement guarantee against freezing and defects and is sized based on the amount of water to be heated. SolarCoil’s unique design used 25% of other system’s connections to dramatically reduce the number of potential leaks.
The system is installed on raters above your roof to allow for drainage and debris removal. The system is mounted without roof penetration to provide easy replacement and removal during roof maintenance.
Our team, led by our Solar Designer and our President, can provide you with a customized solar energy solution that takes your unique needs and property characteristics into consideration. Factors like how often you would like to swim, the temperature you or your guests enjoy swimming in, and the seasonal climate of your region all play a part in our design.
Your home or business’ design also matters—unlike many solar companies, our Southern Arizona solar installers offer ground mounts and structural solar mounts, off-grid systems, and hybrid units. Our product recommendation will depend on the design of your roof and your preferences regarding the appearance of your system.
