Description
Solar Rock is an annual 100% Solar Powered festival that aims to educate individuals about renewable energy, climate change, and sustainability. This free public event features local music, speaches from renowned scientists and local leaders, and educational booth displays from area businesses, non profits, and government agencies. Solar Rock aims to increase public awareness of climate change issues and in doing so, put pressure on elected officials to prioritize clean energy and strategies for reducing carbon dioxide in our atmosphere.
